Walk for Diabetes – on the Wild Side!

JR Engineering Colorado Springs walked upwards of three miles at the Colorado Springs Zoo on May 6, 2006 , to raise money for Coloradans with diabetes. For their hard work, they raised a total of $1,586.00. The group included team leader, Missy Ferdula, along with several other JR employees, family and friends.

A special thanks must be given to Suzanne Kent, who succeeded in raising $1,000.00 on her own! As a result of becoming a member of the “$1000-Plus Club,” Suzanne and team leader Missy were invited to a dinner at Phantom Canyon , at which a plaque was awarded and framed photos provided. Thanks to all who participated in this worthy event.
