Project Description:

JR Engineering provided civil engineering and land surveying services for Crystal Valley Ranch (CVR), a new community in Castle Rock. Crystal Valley Ranch offers open space, wildlife corridors and views of the Rocky Mountains from Pike's Peak to Mount Evans . CVR's main focus is on nature and the basis of the overall planning and design incorporates 1/3 of its 1,500 acres as open space.

JR Engineering's office in Colorado Springs designed preliminary and final site plans for many of the single family residential subdivisions. Submittals consisted of plats, grading, utility plans, land suitability reports, final utilities studies, local roadway plan and profile sheets, and drainage reports.

The water resources department prepared a Master Drainage Study for the entire development. JR's survey division designed improvements for the intersection of Lake Gulch Road and Crystal Valley Ranch Road . Other survey services provided included construction staking, boundary verification and topographic verification for the development.
