Dieter R. Upton, PE
President/CEO

Mr. Upton serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Westrian Group, Inc and has been with the company since 1992. Mr. Upton has had many roles with increased responsibility at Westrian; prior to becoming CEO his positions include General Manager, Director of Land Development, Director of Operations of the Denver office and the Director of Business Development in corporate operations for all JR Engineering branch offices.

Mr. Upton has had oversight of all aspects of growth and opportunity for JR Engineering and established them as a Multi-Discipline consulting engineering company. Today, JR Engineering not only provides Surveying and Land Development Civil Engineering design, but also Structural Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, Transportation Engineering, and Construction Management.

Prior to joining JR Engineering, Mr. Upton established his own Civil Engineering Company specializing in Land Development and Water Resources.

After completing his Bachelor of Science degree from Colorado State University, he performed graduate studies with Colorado State University and Colorado School of Mines, worked for a top ten Denver area Land Development engineering company and worked for a Colorado renowned Water Rights and Supply engineering company as Water Rights Engineer.
